COTTM and Alitrip Sign Strategic Partnership to Help Overseas Destinations Reach the Chinese Outbound Travel Market

China Outbound Travel & Tourism Market (COTTM), a Tarsus Group event formally signed a strategic partnership agreement with Alitrip the travel division of Alibaba, the world’s biggest online commerce company. The signing ceremony in Shanghai was attended by Mr. Zhou Zhen, Vice President of Alitrip, Mr. Tony Duan, Vice President of Alitrip, Mr. Matt Thompson, Tarsus Project Director, Ms. Qing Qinghui, COTTM China Representative, and Mr. Sun Li, Chief Strategy Officer of Beijing Rising Tourism Industry Corporation.

Alitrip, the world’s leading travel service platform and part of the Alibaba Group launched the ‘National Pavilion’ project on its homepage in June 2016. Destinations already part of the project include Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, South Korea and Thailand and Tunisia.
