Visa Info
The information below is a general guide to applying for a visa. For further information and to complete an actual visa application, you will need to contact the Chinese Embassy in your own country. A list of Chinese Embassy contact details can be found here.
The Chinese Embassy in your country will generally require the following documents in order to process your visa application:
- A completed visa application form which must be obtained from your local Chinese embassy
- A recent passport sized photo
- A copy of your travel itinerary or flight booking details
- An invitation letter from the Beijing Tourism Authority. We have appointed an agent to create this invitation letter for you. To obtain an invitation letter, please complete and return the form, and, once payment has been received, you will receive the invitation letter within 5 working days.
- Your passport, which must be valid for at least six months from the date of deparutre and must have at least 2 blank pages in the passport for visa processing
We recommend you apply for the visa as soon as possible to avoid delay. Whilst most Chinese embassies will offer a range of completion time options to allow you to process a visa at short notice if necessary, note that it can take a little time to obtain the letter of invitation which must accompany the visa application, so please allow sufficient time to obtain this before applying for your visa.
