The organiser of China Outbound Travel and Tourism Market (COTTM) is delighted to announce that COTTM has partnered with China Tourism Academy (CTA). It is anticipated that this significant strategic partnership will bring mutual benefits for both parties and for the industry.
Being an established outbound travel trade show in China, COTTM will utilize its powerful and effective database and platform to actively support CTA to conduct all kinds of research on the outbound section of China travel and tourism industry, and assist CTA to release its outbound travel research results to the industry.
China Tourism Academy (CTA) is a dedicated research institute of China National Tourism Administration (CNTA), and has produced a variety of research reports, including the Annual Report of China Outbound Tourism Development. It is said every February CTA, along with COTTM, will release the Chinese version of the Annual Report of China Outbound Tourism Development to the industry; and from April 2010 its English version will also be released at the COTTM show site. Moreover, CTA and COTTM will co-host a workshop on “China Outbound Travel” during the show to further enlighten CTA’s research results on the industry.
Professor Dai Bin, the Vice President of CTA, commented, “We are expecting more practical, effective and wider partnership with COTTM in the future.”
Matt Thompson, COTTM Project Director, said, "It has been well documented that the Chinese outbound market is developing at a pace unparalleled in the tourism world. COTTM is now firmly established as the industry's only business to business event to focus purely on this growth sector and we are delighted to partner with the ChinaTourism Academy. With such rapid change, the CTA are playing a vital role in educating the industry about outbound tourism and we are honoured that they have chosen COTTM as the platform to launch the English version of their annual report."
COTTM is China’s only business to business event that focuses purely on outbound travel. Now in its sixth year, it will take place at the China World Trade Center, 28–30 April, 2010.
