I have been a part of the GEMS family since April 2014. I joined The Millennium School, Dubai as a counselor and inclusion teacher and have grown with the organization. With over 13 years of experience, my professional journey took root in Mumbai, India, branched out to Goa, India, and has currently blossomed in Dubai, UAE.  I have volunteered my expertise to those outside the realm of education, providing my services at Kripa Foundation, de-addiction center and ASRO - center for homeless children. Currently as the Head of Department for Inclusion and Wellbeing, I share a strong bond with my students, their parents and my colleagues . Wellbeing and Inclusive education have always been very dear to me and one of the prime reasons I continue to contribute to the ever-changing and constantly - challenging field. I am of the firm opinion that inclusion is all about assisting students discover their personal strengths and intentionally plan for their success. It is an attitude, a belief and a mindset that one adopts - it is the creation of a sense of belonging. Being nominated for the prestigious Mariamma Varkey award has been among one of my greatest achievements. Constantly taking new strides and with an eagerness to learn and soar, my professional journey has just taken flight. I am proud that I am  one of the most passionate brand ambassadors of Inclusion and Wellbeing.
