Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics at King Saud University and currently holds the position of the Deputy Director General for Customer Success and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Arabic Linguistics issued by the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Center for Arabic Language Service. Dr. Hajar holds a master's degree in Applied Linguistics from Southern Illinois University in the United States of America and a PhD in phonetics and phonology from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom.
