HBMeU highlights academic programs & scholarships at Open Day 2014
Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU) has organized its first ‘Open Day’ for the Spring 2014 Semester for learners and their parents to get a better idea about its undergraduate and postgraduate academic programs accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Attendees were introduced to the financial aid schemes, training sessions and scholarships offered under HBMeU University's virtual learning environment, which is regarded as the premier academic choice in the UAE and across the Arab World.
A lecture titled ‘Employees Happiness’ topped the event agenda, with Dr. Ibrahim Mahmoud bin AbdulRahman, HBMeU Vice-Chancellor, highlighting the role of high-quality education in providing future generations with modern tools to build a successful career and play a positive role in the community. Dr. Ibrahim shed light on the concept of happiness at work from the perspective of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, who emphasized in his book “Flashes of Thought” that “It is necessary to bring happiness to your employees, so that they can bring happiness to the community.”
