"BUiD And ADCB Join Hands To Support Higher Education For Teachers"

The British University in Dubai (BUiD), UAE’s first research-based University and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support Higher Education for teachers.

As per the MoU, BUiD and ADCB will jointly fund the full tuition fee for the Master of Education (MEd) course at BUiD for one of the eligible teachers banking with ADCB. BUiD’s MEd programme has been very successful ever since its launch in 2004; the program has over 300 Education Graduates who have augmented the professional practice of Education in the UAE as well as in the region.

The Scholarship for BUiD’s MEd Programme, which will be partly funded by ADCB, is part of Bank’s initiative to support the Education segment through its “Banking on Education” platform. Banking on Education is an exclusive product proposition covering the entire ecosystem of the education industry with special focus on teachers. ADCB offers an array of benefits to these unsung heroes of the society, including a thorough selection process for fully sponsored Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs, value added lifestyle deals on travel, shopping & dining offers, and an additional sponsored MEd programme for one of the teachers banking with ADCB. The annual scholarship will be extended on raffle draw basis to one of the eligible teachers banking with ADCB and meeting the qualifying criteria of the programme
