GEMS Education secures Dhs100m scholarships

DUBAI: GEMS Education has reaffirmed its commitment to making quality education accessible for all students throughout their schooling and beyond by signing agreements with five more colleges and universities that will offer scholarships exclusively to GEMS students, with a total value of over Dhs100 million.

The universities participating in the programme are; Middlesex University Dubai; SP Jain School of Global Management; Skyline University College; Vision Concepts Aviation Training Institute; and the University of Modern Science. This is in addition to the already announced partnership with the Canadian University Dubai.

Further to the announcement on Wednesday, GEMS Education is set to announce a series of agreements with some of the world’s top universities, including Yale and Harvard in the US and the University of Cambridge in the UK within the coming weeks.

The UniConnect programme was launched in 2017 and it is designed to provide scholarships and financial aid to GEMS students seeking admission at universities within the region and across the globe. GEMS students in the UAE can apply for the scholarships through their school counsellors.
