New smart learning programme introduced in UAE schools
Dubai: The education committee of Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) organised a teachers training workshop on May 24 to introduce the iEarn (international Education and Resource Network) in the day-to-day teaching process. iEARN is a global network available in 140 countries and connecting 50,000 educators and 2 million students.
“The workshop will help teachers to enable their students to build relationships across countries and provide a deeper understanding of global and local issues in their curriculum,” said Samina Nasir, Member, education committee and Principal of Pakistan Islamia High School in Ajman. The training workshop, which took place at the Pakistan Education Academy, was attended by 30 teachers from schools across the UAE, mainly Pakistani schools.
