Owner and Co Founder of Dubai based nurseries Randa Al Himyari awarded Emerging Emirati Entrepreneur of the year

Mrs. Randa Al Himyari, owner and Co Founder of Dubai-based Petit Bout Chou and Potentiel nurseries was nominated Emerging Emirati Entrepreneur of the year for the 2014 Enterprise Agility Awards at an exclusive ceremony held at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

The Enterprise Agility Awards, organized by Entrepreneur MENA publications and presented by du, recognizes and honors 18 notable enterprise leaders and individuals who demonstrated innovation and excelled in business conduct.

The ceremony took place with the presence of high level executives in the business industry. Mrs.Al Himyari was given her award by Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi, the environmental adviser to the Ajman Government, chairman of Green Base Environmental Services and the founder of the Majlis for Holistic Knowledge and Holistic Health.

Selected and trained by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry to be part of the Tejar Dubai initiative, a development programme that covers all entrepreneurial needs, Mrs. Al Himyari was able to perfect her talent and develop full business plans into successful enterprises.
Mrs.Al Himyari co-founded and owns Petit Bout Chou (PBC) and Potentiel, tri-lingual child-centered nurseries for children between the ages of six month to four years, aiming at establishing a strong foundation for learning in the early years in a safe and caring play-based environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of all children.

"My association with Tejar Dubai encouraged a competitive behaviour in me as it allowed me to build relationships and develop a full business plan. I really got to hone my talent under the expert committee comprising of successful entrepreneurs and CEOs and thanks to my partners Linda Al Yazigi and Diana Roukoz we were able to accomplish a flourishing enterprise," said Mrs. Al Himyari.
Mrs. Al Himyari has always had a passion for social causes and dedication to promoting and supporting Corporate Social Responsibility. She is an active member in Al Ihsan Charitable Society, as well as Royalty.

Through her various social and community involvements, she thrives on giving and supporting others in need and on contributing to the national economy and society of the UAE.

"Women's entrepreneurship is a big issue here in Dubai which is such a cosmopolitan and fast moving place that was built on an exceptional entrepreneurial spirit. I'm an incredible supporter of Dubai, and I'm fiercely protective of it," Mrs.Al Himyari said, adding that she sees women who are supporting female entrepreneurship and women's empowerment as 'pioneers', "I'm incredibly fascinated by them".

The Enterprise Agility Awards acknowledge agility across 20 industries including retail, healthcare, construction, hospitality, aviation, education, banking, and energy amongst others. The nominated Enterprise Agility Achievers have successfully set themselves as industry innovators who have made significant contributions to the Middle East business arena.
