Education fair dedicates second day to female students

An Abu Dhabi education fair dedicated its second day to female students, many of which flocked to pavilions of national and international higher education institutions to learn about programmes on offer.

The Najah Education and Training Fair 2017, launched in the capital this week, is seen as an opportunity for students to meet with leading universities. They are also able to take part in activities, including 27 lectures and workshops presented by 30 experts from local, regional and international institutes.

Officials and students spoke of the many academic programmes on offer which keep up with the aspirations of young women in the UAE to gain a university education and the required qualifications for the job market.

“The Emirates College of Advanced Education aims through its participation to present to students its masters degree programmes in education,” said Mariam Al Hammadi, head of project management at the college. “It is offered as a full academic scholarship to UAE national as we wish to train them to work in the education sector.”

The college also presented a package of training courses, offered by its subsidiary, the Continuing Education Centre, aiming to train teachers and academics in the country.
