Sinéad Cahill

Design and Technology Integration Teacher

Fairgreen International School and Trainer at Maker Learners
My name is Sinéad Cahill. I am from a little countryside village in the south of Ireland. At a young age, my love (and determination) for all things technology became apparent. What began with fixing my dad’s computer and interviewing family members on my GirlTalk, led to me majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science in my Bachelor of Education and completing a recent Masters in Education and Technology.

After ten years of teaching in Ireland, Italy, and the UAE, the thread of consistency lies in the integration of technology into my teaching. The evolution of technology and its impact on education is an exciting entity which I am forever chasing. With nine years of primary teaching under my belt, I am now in my second year of a dual role of MYP Design Teacher and Technology Integrator, allowing my love affair with ed-tech to continue. Now my days consist of everything from coding, robotics, Lego, 3D printing, photography workshops, architectural and interior design, to junk kouture fashion.

In my spare time, you can find me exploring a new location with my camera, eating chocolate, or searching for my next creative course. I pride myself in being a life-long learner and am excited to bring others along on this journey.
